Literature

Everyone has different reasons for wanting to explore Scotland. Perhaps it’s the words on the page of a book that have inspired you, or maybe you want to follow in the footsteps of a Scottish literary great?

It’s no secret that across the centuries, the country has produced dozens of acclaimed writers, and the remarkable landscapes have been used as the settings for a number of works of prose and poetry.

In more recent years, Scotland has become known for the works of writers like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes) and J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter).

As both of their works are protected by copyrights, we are not allowed to bring them here. You can however have a look at the link below as it will guide you to a story with similar local Scottish traditions and suspense.
